How long has your company been a member of the PPC?
Over 25 years

What value does your company get from the PPC?
Altium has been a long-term sponsor of PPC. We wish to show our customers the value of working with Altium to provide stock and custom bottles for the automotive market. We also take part in the trade show. There is a great mix of suppliers in the expo hall. We also find a wide variety of suppliers attending the event where we learn about their capabilities, such as corrugate, closures, labels, co-packers, etc. We set up business meetings with our key accounts with the help of PPC providing meeting rooms centrally located down the hall from the main event. Also of note: the keynote speakers are motivational AND entertaining. The technical speakers come from various aspects of the industry and are renowned in their field of practice.

What personal gain does your participation in the PPC provide to you?
John Manderfield: I’ve been with Altium for over 37 years, mainly heading up our creative design department (Studio PKG). For the past 10 years I’ve been endeavoring to “give something back” to the PPC community. I’ve given PPC College courses on “Blow-Molding 101” several times to help the PPC community. I also find the PPC College courses given by other industry professionals vastly increase my technical knowledge. Recently, I joined the Technical Education Committee and found this to be a very engaging group (under Tom Golinski’s leadership) to help drive the technical content for upcoming PPC events.

I’m excited to be part of a thriving association.
